Getting ready inspiration - Urban elopement
Spoiling yourselves on your wedding day - S&L already started their day out right and showed how it's done. A sweet table just for the two of them and a relaxed getting ready process including a photo shoot in a famous Munich rooftop bar - magical!

The getting ready is an important part that should be included into your overall itinerary and carefully planned out as it already sets the tone for your entire elopement. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your getting ready time:

Choosing the right location: Make sure your getting ready location is comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate you and your partner, and any guests or vendors you may have. Look for a location with ample natural light, such as a hotel room or an Airbnb with large windows to ensure the best possible photos.
Choosing the right vendors: Make sure to be surrounded by vendors you feel comfortable with. Especially planners, stylists and photographers will be with you throughout the day.
Coordinate with your stylist: If you're working with a stylist make sure they have enough time, and consider scheduling a trial run beforehand to ensure you're happy with the final result. If you have changed your hair a few days before the wedding, let them know.
Wear something comfy: Choose clothing that's easy to change out of, such as a robe or a button-down shirt, to avoid messing up your hair and makeup when it's time to get dressed. Make sure your dress can be put on without messing up your styling (maybe try it on the days before).
Have your personal playlist: Put together a playlist of your favorite songs to help set the mood and choose your songs accordingly. You want a relaxed atmosphere? Then choose songs that make you feel at ease.
Plan your breakfast: Consider serving a light breakfast or brunch, such as fruit, pastries, or bagels, to start the day off right and make sure to drink enough water.
Relax and enjoy the moment: Take some time to relax and enjoy the moment. Take photos, share memories, and soak in the excitement and anticipation of your special day.

Of course there is no right way to do it. S&L got ready together in the same suite, just enjoying each other's company with a lot of laughter and cake. And as much as I love a first look, I really liked the atmosphere of this morning. It just shows that there is no right way to plan an elopement, the important thing is what you want, not what anybody else expects.

To ensure your getting ready is as stress-free as possible I will take care of everything in the background. I will coordinate with the vendors, change the timeline if necessary, oversee the preparation of the ceremony or handle any last-minute details. I will assist the photographer (or videographer) in gathering all the details e.g. putting together the shoes, rings, stationary, the bouquet or hanging up the dress in the perfect position. But most importantly, I will provide support and guidance throughout the day and I will be by your side, cheering you on!

Planning this shoot was so different from others as there was no traditional timeline and no wedding must-haves, which is just what I love about elopements. Everyone is unlike the other - from the location to timeline to the couple. Elopements are just extraordinary, magical celebrations of love from start to finish.
Overall, getting ready on your elopement day can be a fun and memorable experience. With a bit of planning and preparation, you can ensure that you feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to celebrate your love with your partner.
